My Approach to Care:

Fearless Pursuit was built on a simple belief: physical therapy should feel personal, collaborative, and designed around your life—not a generic protocol.

From day one, my goal is to understand what matters most to you. Together we'll create a clear plan built around your goals, and I'll make sure you understand not only what we're doing, but why we're doing it. I believe confident, informed clients get better results, so questions, feedback, and open communication are always encouraged.

My treatment style is active and movement-focused. Rather than chasing symptoms, I take the time to understand how your body moves as a whole, identify what's contributing to the problem, and build a strong foundation through individualized strength and movement training. Hands-on treatment is incorporated when it supports your goals, but exercise and movement remain at the heart of every plan.

Whether your goal is returning to sport, staying active for years to come, or simply feeling confident in your body again, every program is tailored specifically to you. I combine evidence-based return-to-sport testing, customized exercise programming, and ongoing virtual support between visits so you always know where you stand and what comes next.

My goal isn't simply to help you recover from an injury—it's to help you leave physical therapy stronger, more confident, and equipped with the tools to keep pursuing the things that matter most.

Why "Fearless Pursuit"?

"Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire."

This quote has stayed with me for years and eventually became the inspiration behind the name Fearless Pursuit Physical Therapy.

To me, Fearless Pursuit isn't about being fearless. It's about recognizing that fear, uncertainty, and self-doubt are part of pursuing anything meaningful—and choosing to move forward anyway.

Whether that's returning to sport after an injury, signing up for your first race, hiking the trail you've always dreamed about, or simply learning to trust your body again, I believe some of life's most meaningful experiences exist on the other side of taking that first step.

My hope is that every person I work with leaves feeling stronger physically, more confident mentally, and empowered to keep pursuing the life they want to live and the goals that inspire them.

Meet Shannon:

Shannon Taylor, DPT | Lake Stevens & Snohomish

I'm a Doctor of Physical Therapy and the founder of Fearless Pursuit Physical Therapy.

For the past eight years, I've specialized in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, helping driven athletes and active adults overcome setbacks, build confidence, and get back to the activities they love. My approach combines strength-based rehabilitation, individualized programming, and evidence-based return-to-sport testing to create clear, personalized plans that help people move forward with confidence.

Many of my clients are active women and female athletes navigating everything from returning to sport to balancing fitness through different seasons of life. While that's a group I especially enjoy working with, one of my favorite parts of this profession is partnering with people from all walks of life—each with their own goals, challenges, and definition of what an active life looks like.

Outside the clinic, I'm usually finding ways to stay active and enjoy the simple things in life with my family. These days that looks a little different than it used to as I balance strength training, getting out in nature whenever I can, and the occasional round of golf with life as a new mom. I live in Lake Stevens with my husband, our son, and our husky, Akira, who's almost always up for an adventure.

Like many of my clients, I'm learning what it looks like to make time for movement, health, and the things that fill my cup through different seasons of life. I believe we all deserve to feel strong, capable, and confident enough to keep saying "yes" to the things that matter most—no matter what season we're in.
